Memories of Craig

Death leaves a heartache

no one can heal,

Love leaves a memory

no one can steal.

Story behind the shamrock
Craig was very close to his Uncle Eric. Eric was eight years older than Craig but they were great friends, as was the case with all of Eric’s nephews. Eric gave Craig a gold shamrock necklace before he died in 1991. Devastated by his death, the shamrock held special meaning to Craig as well as the number 18. The number 18 was Eric’s number used during hockey and baseball. Before Craig left from NC to return to NJ in June 2006, his brother, Larry, found a four leaf clover in the yard and gave it to Craig. Craig folded the clover in wax paper and put it in his wallet. It was still there when his wallet was found. Larry had never found a four leaf clover before that day.

Craig was born on January 31, 1973 in Woodbury, New Jersey.  He left two beautiful daughters; Jenna and Lena, parents; Larry and Vickie and a brother, Larry. He attended Washington Township High School and Gloucester County College. He also completed a Real Estate Agent course, and several computer courses for transmission diagnostics.  He was a master transmission technician most of his adult life. He loved sports, especially baseball. He spent 33 years on this earth and gathered a wealth of family and friends. He was a giver. This website is dedicated in his honor. It is a place where his loved ones can come and share part of his life, where we can experience how Craig touched other people’s lives, and how he became the wonderful man that he was.

What must it be to step on shore

….And find it heaven!
To take hold of a hand

  ….and find it God’s hand

To breathe a new air

  ….and find it celestial air!

To feel invigorated

  ….and find it immortality!

To rise from the care and turmoil

Of earth into one unbroken calm

To wake up—and find it glory!

Craig told Jenna it was his favorite song. Not surprising-it is about

a man becoming a father. A role he loved more than anything.
